Workhorse of Brazing Furnaces

Since installation in 2015, this vertical cold walled brazing furnace has delivered 100's of cycles at Raja Ramana Center for Advanced Technology (RRCAT). The effective hot zone of the furnace is of 500mm (diameter) x 1500mm (height) with a moveable bottom cover. The furnace can go up to 1200 C at a rate of 5 C/min and designed to operate in high vacuum (1x10E-6 mbar) for brazing.
