The 80 KW, 35 kV Electron Beam Welding (EBW) system for the nuclear industry to effectively perform Zirconium sponge welding at Kota, Rajasthan. This 36 meter hyper long system comprises of two load-lock chambers on either side of the welding chamber to preload and post-load the job for high efficiency, and automated trolley system for complete lights out automation and high productivity. 

The key benefits of electron beam welding were highlighted with the solution including the ability to welding multiple metals/alloys, materials with high thermal conductivity, welding dissimilar materials, welding without any filler material, under vacuum process and with little or no distortion.
